Smart Start Program

THE SMART START PROGRAM CONSISTS OF TWO ONE HOUR TRAINING SESSIONS WITH ONE OF OUR CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINERS.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL MEMBERS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS WONDERFUL BENEFIT. .

THESE SESSIONS ARE PART OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH BASIC INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO PROPERTY UTILIZE THE GYM TO MEET YOUR SPECIFIC FITNESS GOALS.

 

SMART START ONE:
 

The design behind the assessment is to formulate a path/plan to reach your individual fitness goal(s).

     • Complete physical activity readiness questionnaire
     • Discuss goals, injuries and experience      
     • Baseline body composition- Weight and Body fat percentage
     • Squat analysis (Squat profile)
     • Upper body (Chest press) and lower body (Leg press) strength assessment
     • Discuss the findings of the assessment and formulate the safest and most efficient path to accelerate you to your fitness goal(s).
     • Discuss the benefits of working with a fitness professional
     • Answer any and all questions you may have for the personal trainer

 

SMART START TWO:
 

This assessment is to integrate the member to the facility and provide them with the knowledge to complete a basic workout plan.

     • Explanation of cardio equipment (programing and settings)
     • Introduction to the Life fitness circuit training line. Educating the individual on the proper seat and machine adjustments, weight selection and repetition counts.
     • Discuss the importance of the proper flexibility routine
     • Introduction to personal training concepts. Discuss the additional steps that will need to be taken (strength, cardio, core and flexibility) to maximize your fitness goals.
     • Answer any and all questions you may have for the personal trainer
